SURFING DOWN THE AMAZON RIVER

Surfing down the Amazon River! This is completely true and there are no special effects. What happens is that an extremely powerful tidal change causes a tidal bore to run down the Amazon river. The bore is so huge that it creates a very surf able wave. The difference is that this wave runs down the length of the river which means that surfers can ride waves for very long periods of time! If you a brave enough to swim in the Amazon river and you are a surfer than this is heaven
